Nepal is a small Himalayan kingdom that lies north of India and south of Tibet, China. While nearly everyone knows that Nepal is the home of Mount Everest, fewer realize that it is also home to eight of highest snow-topped mountains in the world. Nepal literally forms the backbone of the Himalayan mountain range; 80% of the 147,181 square kilometers occupied by Nepal is mountainous. It is astounding to realize that there are 1310 mountain peaks in Nepal that rise between 5000 and 8848 meters!

Glacial-fed rivers have carved out gigantic gorges upon whose slopes local farmers have cut small terraced-fields where they grow and cultivate their crops. In addition, Nepal has regions of sub-tropical monsoon climate that are well known for their magnificent heritage of rich flora and fauna biodiversity.

23 million people, consisting of 60 ethnic groups, and speaking 75 different languages populate Nepal. Its people are a product of Hindu and Buddhist influences and has a fascinating lifestyle and culture that dates back thousands of years.

Treks begin by flying into the modern Kathmandu International Airport that is situated in the beautiful Kathmandu Valley. We will greet you at the airport and bring you to lodging in the exotic capital city of Kathmandu, the home to many temples and monastery's.

We provide trekking and climbing in each of the following exceptionally beautiful and interesting regions. On all treks the concentration is on experiencing Nepali-culture and Nature's diversity.

1. Annapurna (Circuit and Sanctuary).

The Annapurna conservation area (ACA) is located in the central part of Nepal. It is Nepal's first and largest conservation area. It has grown to over 7,600 sq. km. since the first trekker came to the Annapurna area in 1957. It is the most geographically and culturally diverse protected area in the world. It has different culture people ës lifestyle, steep terraces, rush forest, barren plateaus, Mountain- desert, the deepest kali Gandaki gorge, Annpurna I (8091m) the eight highest mountain and Machhapucchare Fishtail 6993m) the must beautiful mountain and other several Mountain peaks. It is also an excellent habitat for a wide variety of plants and animals, providing a good reflection of the lands' biological diversity. Recent surveys have recorded 1226 species of plants, 38 species of orchids, 9 species of Rhododendrons, 101 species of mammals, 478 species of birds, 39 species of reptiles and 22 species of amphibians in the Annapurna conservation area.
