Kathmandu to
Kyanjin same as above (1) treks. From Kyanjin cross the Langtang stream and
catch the way to Ngegang. The way is pretty much up. Up. Up. From Ngegang the
trails climbs to the GanjaLa pass which sometime blocked by snow and the way is
marked by rocky cairns and prayer flags and with a spectacular view of the Mt.
Langtang Lirung and mountains of Tibet include: Mt. Shisha Pangma 8013m. After
cross the Ganja La, you will reach Helambu region, Melamchi Bazzar/Pul where you can catch bus to
Kathmandu.

Holy Gosainkunda Lake-Helambu trek

There are many
lakes in Langtang region but famous one is Gosainkund Lake which is situated at
the height of 4312m. According to Hindu mythology, it is the abode of Shiva. The
lake has large rock in the center, which remains of a Shiva. During July and
August this trail has a mass of humanity as devout Hindu Pilgrims for
worshippers of Shiva. This lake is also scared to the Buddhist. You can see
enchanting view of mountain from the way.
Langtang and
Helambu regions are connected through Lauribina La 4610m pass.
The Yolmo people
of the Helambu region are often referred to as "Sherpa"; however,
their language and socio-cultural set up do not resemble the Solu
Khumbu/Everest Sherpa. They are rather more akin to Langtang Bhotias and may
also have migrated from the Kyirung area of Tibet. Their religion and
monasteries are rich in Buddhist culture and ancient tradition. Trekkers can
see view of Mt. Gaurishankar. Helambu is also known as short trek and trekker's
paradise.
